“Croque-moi” Patch – Bite into life’s simple pleasures.
1. Prepare your garment
Choose a heat-resistant fabric (cotton, denim, linen). Avoid: silk, wool, cashmere, leather, or highly synthetic materials.
2. Position the patch
Place it exactly where you want it, with the adhesive side facing down against the fabric.
3. Protect it
Cover the patch with a thin cloth (like a cotton tea towel) or parchment paper to protect the embroidery from the heat.
4. Iron it on
Set your iron to a high heat setting, no steam. Press down firmly for 15 seconds without moving the iron.
5. Check the bond
Let it cool down slightly and gently lift a corner. If it moves: repeat the process, pressing even more firmly.
6. Reinforce (optional)
Turn your garment inside out and iron the back of the patch area for another 10 seconds.
Washing: Wash inside out, 30°C max (86°F).
Drying: Avoid tumble drying and high-speed spin cycles.
Ironing: Do not iron directly on the patch.
